The Space

The villa is spacious and very comfortable, perfect for family gatherings or groups. This second-floor villa features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are 2 master bedrooms each with a king bed and en-suite bathrooms. The 3rd bedroom contains 2 bunk beds each twin over full with an en-suite bathroom. There is enough room for 10 guests.

The lower level entry way brings you into a tiled entrance adjacent to the laundry room, the perfect place to unload your beach towels and sandy shoes. Continuing down the tiled hallway to the left brings you to the 2 master suites. The hallway to the right brings you into the "kids" bedroom featuring double bunk beds. All bedrooms are equipped with TV's, cable and Roku.

Continuing straight up the flight of stairs brings you to main level entry way. The villa has 2 entrances, one for each level. The main level entrance is perfect for bringing in the groceries and main guest entrance. The main floor contains a fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, spacious dining area with secretary desk as the occasional work space. From the dining area you enter the relaxing living room with half bath and balcony access overlooking the beach and pool.

Overlooking the balcony is Shipwatch's newly renovated and heated pool and just steps to the Amelia Island's picturesque sandy beaches. As you walk over the boardwalk to the beach you pass over the green space that was a former ocean front golf course. This is the perfect space to throw the frisbee, walk the dog, or meander down the path along the coast line. The end of the boardwalk brings you right out to the private beach to soak up the sun, boogie board in the surf, or play that competitive game of Pro Kadima on the sandy beach.

Our family has visited the coast of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina over the past 20 years and simply fell in love with Amelia Island. We have always dreamed of owning our own beachfront paradise that we can share with others!

Oceanscape is that dream come to life for us. We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place for a family getaway. In the mornings, we enjoy some fitness along the shore. During the day, we love competing at every beach game possible, mixing in a dip in the surf and then simply soaking up the sun at the beach or pool. When we need a break from the beach you'll find us at the mini golf course in a friendly but competitive game!

The plantation is perfect for walks or bike rides with over 20 miles of pathways. We enjoy our excursions to the historic downtown Fernandina Beach visiting the quaint restaurants and shoppes. Let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay perfect.

Oceanscape Shipwatch!

This was about as close to a perfect vacation as possible. The house was clean, well stocked and was perfectly situated to provide ocean views from the front and lush, shaded gardens in the back. We truly felt right at home in the space and had room to spread out with 8 guests. The keyless entry was fantastic and meant we didn't have to worry about losing keys on the beach. Being located next to the Omni meant we benefitted from the amenities and restaurants. We were particularly smitten with Natural Pizza - run, don't walk! We will book this exact house for future locations. A big hats off to our hosts for making this a memorable vacation.

We would highly recommend! The properly is simply gorgeous, with a beautiful view of the pool and the beach. You can hear the waves from the balcony. The home is spacious and well-stocked. It was clean and very comfortable! Communication was great throughout our stay. My family has no complaints and we hope to stay here again!
